Dietetics in Health Care Communities (DHCC) a dietetic practice group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the practice group of dietitians practicing in the extended care setting invites you to partner with our organization.  DHCC continues to be at the forefront of long-term care trends through network liaison to organizations that create policies in the industry.

Established in 1975, Dietetics in Health Care Communities (DHCC), formerly CD-HCF, represents nearly 4300 members of the American Dietetic Association working in extended care settings across the US. DHCC supports two subunits
Corrections
The Corrections sub-unit is the advocate for dietetics professionals working in the field of corrections by supporting dietetics professionals through current information, trends, regulations, research, tools and networking opportunities.

Home Care
The Home Care subunit is an advocacy and resource group for the ADA members who provide medical nutrition therapy to the home based patient. The mission of this practice -focused group is to promote the role of medical nutrition therapy in alternative site medicine and expand the public image of the registered dietitian as the expert for home based nutrition care.

About the Acedemy of Nutrition and Dietetics
With over 70,000 members, the Academy is the nation’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals.  ADA serves the public by promoting optimal nutrition, health and well-being.  Academy members are the nation’s food and nutrition experts, translating the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living.  Approximately 75% of the Academy’s members are registered dietitians with dietetic technicians, registered making up 4%.  Other members include clinical and community dietetic professionals, consultants, food service managers, educators, researchers, dietetic technicians, and students.  Nearly half of all ADA members hold advanced academic degrees.  The activities of DHCC support and enhance the mission of the Academy by individualizing the nutrition care of elders living in extended care settings.

DHCC offers sponsors the opportunity to underwrite one-hour, on-line educational teleforums or webinars.  This opportunity allows sponsors to work with DHCC regarding content and speaker while DHCC fully manages the implementation.

    -Sponsor name in the education event listing
    -Notes/slides posted in the Members Only section of our Web site

Advertising
We offer opportunities for advertising inserts – either color or black-and-white reproducible materials with educational messaging.  Sponsor is responsible for developing content and design (subject to DHCC and ADA approval), printing insert and shipping to the DHCC printer.  The insert is also posted in the members section of our website.  Inserts must be reviewed and approved by DHCC and ADA at least one month prior to the mail or posting date.
Advertising Fee for Printed Newsletter: $3000 for 1-page, 2-sided insert; $5,500 for 2-page, 2-sided insert
Advertising Fee for Online/Electronic Newsletter: $2500 for insert
